Flocculation

Precipitated metal hydroxides and other water constituents precipitated by pH value adjustment or reagents combine to form macroscopic flocs. These in turn bind other wastewater constituents so that the wastewater can be treated. To support the flocculation and stabilisation of the flocs, flocculants are generally used as diluted solutions.
